Kooloora Pre School is committed to providing balanced learning experiences that are responsive to the individual needs of your child. At Kooloora Pre School we recognise and value the diversity of individuals. Children are unique and have a wide range of abilities in all areas of development. Our program focuses on a child’s active learning in all areas, these include intellectual, physical, social, emotional and cultural.
 We strongly promote the Aboriginal culture of Australia through all aspects of our program, focusing on Culture, History and Heritage. Our philosophy is to encourage pride in all individuals’ cultural backgrounds which helps to develop in each child a positive self value which enhances his/her education.
Enrolment
 Priority of enrolment is given to children from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. However, all children are welcome at Kooloora.
Parent Involvement
At Kooloora families are regarded as valuable partners, working with the educators for the best interests of the child. We encourage parents to ask questions, be a parent helper or share your many talents with us.

Kooloora pre-school runs two separate programs from 9.00am to 3.00pm each school day:

What are Kooloora fees?

We ask a contribution of $2.50 per day. We do ask that each term families donate an item, such as a box of tissues or a bottle of hand wash etc.

Our Staff

As part of Toukley Public School, Kooloora has a qualified Early Childhood teacher who is Aboriginal and an Aboriginal Education Assistant. We also have a Teachers Aid who is a valued member of our team. All staff are committed to providing a nurturing learning environment under the directive of Toukley Public School’s Principal and the Executive Staff.
